Pre-heat oven to 350℉
Whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt in a medium-sized mixing. Set aside.
Beat butter, brown sugar and vanilla extract in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
Beat in eggs.
Gradually beat in flour mixture.
Stir in 1½ cups of butterscotch morsels and 1 cup of chopped pecans and mix thoroughly.
Spread into a lightly buttered 13 x 9 baking pan. For ease of removal and cutting, line the pan with parchment paper and allow an overhang on each of the longest sides. Remove from oven once baked, and take an offset spatula and loosen the edges. Let cool in the pan for 10 minutes to set, Then lift from the pan using the parchment paper and place on a wire cooling rack to completely cool. Cook and serve.
Place in the preheated oven and bake at 350°F for 30-40 minutes. To bake awesome brownies, it's important not to overbake the brownies. To check if they are done, insert a wooden toothpick into the center – if it comes out clean, the brownies are done. Remove them from the oven and let them cool in the pan on a cooling rack.
